This action was commenced in the probate court of Milwaukee county to contest the ownership of a share account in the Ladish
Employees' Credit Union. Mildred E. Gray was employed at the Ladish Company in Cudahy from August 2, 1937, until her death on October 9, 1962. In
1937 or 1938, she opened the account in question in the name of Mildred Kronenberger, which was her maiden name. On October
2, 1948, she and the appellant, Otto Gray, were married. No children were born to this marriage, although the appellant had
had a child by a former marriage. Four days after the wedding, Mrs. Gray changed the name of the share account in question
to her married name.
